Coming up - Nangawooka Flora Reserve

from 10.30 am
We will join Mylor Garden Club to visit Nangawooka, a 5 acre flora reserve north of Victor Harbor.
A volunteer guide will give us a tour of the reserve.
The first plantings occurred in 1983 and range from WA species at the Northern end of the reserve to a mix of general native species in the centre and species specific to the Fleurieu Peninsula nearer the Southern entrance. Over 90% of the plants are labelled. Flowering starts in mid-winter and is at its peak early Spring so this will be an ideal time to visit.
Every month, members bring up to 3 flowers from their gardens. Previous Show Benches, give a snapshot of what plants flower in hills gardens in each month.
