April 2020: Head down and working in vege garden or doing cleanup jobs, I didn't think there was much going on in our garden right now but a proper look surprised me. Pays to stop and smell the roses now and then. I found an easy bit of software called 'PhotoPad' that let me quickly make a collage of all these pics so we could share what is flowering in other SHGC gardens.
I know I should have been outside digging and not playing on the computer, but it was raining 😏

Is it an edible quince?
I bought the Chinese Quince tree in a Dandenong nursery during our club trip to Melbourne around 2015; it’s a small tree with brilliant autumn foliage – just beginning to turn. Last year was its first crop of 3; this year about 20.
I’ll take photos of the leaves over the next few weeks.

Yes. I surprised myself to find all of these in our garden a few days ago.
If there is one thing we have learnt from this virus is that there is no such thing as “I should be...”. Anyway are these all from your garden? I’m inspired off to see what’s in flower in mine.
